Qualifying Conditions - MINNESOTA
According to the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Program, the following conditions are qualified diagnoses that can be certified by a medical marijuana doctor so that you can participate in the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Program as a patient and visit medical marijuana dispensaries.
There are a number of amendments to the law that have been proposed that would expand the number of qualifying diagnoses.
These are the current qualifying medical conditions to become a patient in the Minnesota medical cannabis program:

Alzheimer’s disease

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

Autism
-
Cancer associated with severe/chronic pain, nausea or severe vomiting, or cachexia or severe wasting

Chronic motor or vocal tic disorder (effective August 2021)

Chronic pain

Glaucoma

HIV/AIDS

Inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease

Intractable pain

Obstructive sleep apnea

Post-traumatic stress disorder

Seizures, including those characteristic of epilepsy

Severe and persistent muscle spasms, including those characteristic of multiple sclerosis

Sickle cell disease (effective August 2021)

Terminal illness, with a probable life expectancy of less than one year

Tourette Syndrome
